Lani’s Suites de Luxe Lanzarote
Lani’s is perched over a private beach, with Atlantic views enticing from each terrace, dining room, swimming pool and guest space. The airport a destination you’ll need to haul yourself to following this oasis of chic — will be a 10-minute push off. The mid-market Avenida de las Playas boulevard meanders over the hotel.
Style & personality
Picture if Gianni Versace made your package in colors of snow whitened, mirror silver, cool linen and cream leather. Or when Liberace was put in charge of guest relations, and insisted Chopard bathroom goods, and a free half bottle of Blanc de Blancs Cava for each new arrival. Lani’s oozes sass, design and out-and-out sexiness.
Service & amenities
It’d be unfair to compare a sumptuous hotel with just 25 suites into the boundless amenities at one of Lanzarote’s blockbuster resorts. Though its boutique size that the hotel still offers a complete beauty center (massages $65/55), a concierge service along with an eggshell blue heated pool. Casual yet astute support is first class, as is the variety or TV stations, radio channels and Netflix films on the 2 flatscreens in each package. Check-in may be speeded up, but that is being picky.
Featuring linens, cushions and designer light which would not look strange on a superyacht, just with bags more room (each package includes at least 2 chambers). Each also includes a ‘party cabinet’ stocked with champagne flutes, a Bluetooth speaker, Nespresso machine and binoculars for sea gazing.
Food & beverage
As a result of some seafront location par excellence, Lani’s glass-fronted restaurant and outside patio look out over the Atlantic Ocean and beach facing. Service is advised, not obsequious, also sparkles with fish dishes such as an unbelievable octopus tempura ($13/#11) and ravioli of salmon and salmon ($14.50/#12). Exactly the identical degree of gastronomy and support could be hand delivered to a patio table.
Value for cash
In case Lani’s Suites de Luxe were on Capri or the Cap d’Antibes, costs will be measured in the tens of thousands, not the hundreds. Rates hover around $300 (#252) to get a first floor Ocean Bundle, $390 (#328) to get a comparable sized Deluxe Suite with spa and patio and $675 (#567) to get a Lani’s Suite with 2 bedrooms plus a private patio over the beach. Rates are year round, and contain an à la carte breakfast.
Accessibility for guests with disabilities?
Even though Lani’s welcomes guests with reduced autonomy it’s no especially adapted rooms. Bundle two has no-step wheelchair accessibility and is ideal to visitors with disabilities.
