Four Seasons Hotel Toronto

Toronto is the home town of the Four Seasons series, whose very first hotel started here half a century back. Brand-new in 2012, this 55-storey tower stands at Yorkville, the town’s most elegant place. The Financial District is a five-minute push away.

Style & personality

The resort is pure 21st century. Granite countertops, mahogany panels and complex stained wood are offset by colors of pewter, rock and old stone. At the primary entry, employees look almost soundlessly in your elbow, ready to assist. Through the 21 hotel flooring are 1,700 pieces of original artwork, commissioned by Canadian artists.

Service & amenities

The Four Seasons doctrine is “do as you’d be done by”. Nothing is too much trouble. The lodging is prepared to offer everything from cufflinks to events tickets. About the 9th floor is Toronto’s largest spa, together with 17 treatment rooms and a pool.

Room support

From the spacious, oh-so-plush 217 rooms and 42 suites, contemporary must-haves consist of in-room iPads and espresso machines. Open a window to get a breath of fresh air; at the toilet, the mirror can become a tv display.

Food & beverage

Global celebrity Daniel Boulud is your Michelin-decorated chef supporting d|pub. Casual and French-influenced, this see-and-be-seen assembly place attracts serious company people in addition to gossiping friends. Sip coffee on a couch; purchase a cocktail in the bar; choose a dining table for a dinner; sit outside on the terrace in nice weather. 1 floor up, Café Boulud provides grand views of posh Yorkville through enormous windows.

Value for cash

Double rooms from C$495 (#270), excluding breakfast. Book a Superior Room (the cheapest class) and purchase top-of-the-range sheets, towels and blankets.
