Darwin Waterfront Luxury Suites

Except for 2 apartments housed in neighboring buildings, all of lodging is located at Wharf One (buildings two and 3). This sits on the southern end of this waterfront precinct over a streak of restaurants that provide Modern Australian, Mexican and Greek cuisine. Conveniently overlook Darwin Harbour on both sides, and park and lagoon areas across the opposite. A walk into town center or into Deckchair Cinema requires 10-15 minutes; a convenience shop, bars, cafés and also a public pool are all within spitting distance.
Style & personality

A package of white furniture, together with splashes of vibrant color on walls and flooring, overlooks spaces — giving a light, airy, lively and sophisticated personality to flats. Extras like modern Aboriginal art and shag pile rugs add warmth into the spaces’ ambiance.
Service & amenities

Customer support is manned by a small group of two girls: Kat and Helen. The former manages reservations, while the latter greets guests and attends to their own queries. Helen, in particular, is highly professional, approachable and efficient. She stays on-hand in a nearby office during business hours on weekdays; weekend client support functions through telephone. Facilities from the flats include air-conditioning, completely equipped kitchens, balconies, barbecues, cable and Wi-Fi tv. Car hire is readily available for an extra $25 (#15) per day, and a $750 (#451) refundable bond — notice that cars have to be cleaned and refuelled upon their return.

Bedrooms are well appointed with large windows and ample views (roughly half of flat bedrooms provide harbour views). They are fitted with individual air-conditioning components and comfy king or single beds draped in bone and white linen. Available configurations are one-bedroom, two-bedroom and living area (one bedroom with 2 queen beds). Bathrooms are compact but contemporary and feature a stylish frosted glass wall adjacent the bedroom in the bath/shower recess.

Food & beverage

Accommodation comprises a welcome breakfast bunch. It is comprised of fruit, bread, little cereal packs, java pods (for a Nespresso system), milk and condiments. From the waterfront precinct, there are approximately eight restaurants to select from. The neighboring Stokes Hill Wharf boasts an outside food hall for casual dining.
